The Andean trekking season typically runs from April to October, avoiding the rainy season for clearer paths and better views. In Patagonia, the optimal months are from November to March, during the Southern Hemisphere’s summer. The Amazon is best visited during the dry season from June to September for fewer mosquitos and lower water levels, which expose more hiking trails.
