Port Lincoln Tour
The group will visit Flinders Ports Wharf, South Australia's primary grain exporting plant. The harbor can load grain carriers thanks to its natural deep-water location. Around AUD$2.2 billion worth of cargo, mainly grain commodities (such as wheat, canola, barley, peas, and beans) and fresh seafood, move through the wharf each season. Next, you’ll head to the Marina Wharf, where you'll see Port Lincoln's diverse fishing fleet and smaller trailer boats. You’ll also visit the Tacoma, the first purpose-built purse seine fishing boat, which had a significant impact on pelagic fishing in Australia. Lunch at the Fresh Fish Place, where you can choose your own fresh fish or shellfish from the menu, is followed by a visit to the Port Lincoln National Park, where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and stunning views. Then, you’ll visit a private nature reserve where you can see wild Koalas and kangaroos, wander through the restored original homestead, and observe 160 native bird species. End the day with a platter and local wine surrounded by wildlife and nature, before transferring you to the Port Lincoln Hotel.
