Get ready for the week ahead with a welcome meeting in Sant Pere Pescador. This is your chance to prepare, ask questions, collect your information, and go over the route with a tour representative. Sant Pere Pescador to L’Escala
Whether it’s your first day of the tour or you’ve completed the northern leg prior, today will be an exciting beginning to a new adventure. Start walking along the beach, then detouring away from the coast on a rural pathway. You’ll pass along fields of small canals before reaching the Empúries ruins, formerly one of the largest Greco-Roman settlements on the Iberian Peninsula. Your destination is L’Escala, where you can find a tapas bar for dinner and then get some rest.

Castles, Coves, and Torroella de Montgrí
This morning, head over the Massís del Montgrí on a path that follows the ocean. Watch for the coast’s characteristic coves as you approach Punta Venosa. You’ll be walking right alongside the cliffs for a while, which will definitely be one of the most beautiful parts of your walk. Continue to Montgri Castle, an imposing fortified stone structure on a hilltop. After you’ve soaked up the views over the Pyrenees here, it’s down to Torroella for the evening.

After breakfast, you’ll begin heading across the Natural Park of Montgri and Medes Islands. You won’t be able to look away from the jagged Medes Islands jutting out from the azure water. Continue walking over a long beach all the way to Begur, where your hotel awaits.

The Beautiful Path to Palamós
Enjoy your morning, but get an early start on today’s walk- it’s going to be a gorgeous one, and you’ll want to take your time! You’ll walk along a spectacular stretch of shoreline, dotted with coves and blanketed with pine forests. Olive trees and oaks line the cliffs on one side, and the ocean laps at the shore on the other. You’ll reach Palamós, where a neat fishing museum makes for a good visit before dinner.

Leaving Palamós, your final day of walking takes you to Sant Pol Beach in Sant Feliu, a perfect endpoint. To get there, you’ll follow the Cami de Ronda, a lovely coastal pathway. You’ll walk by stone and sand beaches, coves, and tourist towns. End your journey at the beach, taking a dip in the welcoming waters and finding a glass (or three) of Spanish wine to celebrate your trek.
