Explore this beautiful mix of architecture, cuisine, and energy as you enjoy a guided walking tour of the city today. Hot Air Balloon Tour and Stepantminda
Take things up a notch today (literally, up) with a hot air balloon ride over the gorgeous Mukhrai Valley. This is an optional excursion with an additional cost, but it’s one you won’t ever forget. Next, head along the Old Georgian Military Highway to stop at the Ananuri fortified church. Upon arriving at Stepantsminda, take a moment to appreciate Mount Kazbek (5054m, 16,581ft) watching over you. According to ancient Greek mythology, Prometheus was here when he decided to steal the god’s fire. You’ll then head up to the Gergeti Monastery on Mount Kazbek, an impossibly scenic 14th-century church perched in the mountains.
