Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech, one of the most vibrant cities in Morocco. Your guide will greet you upon your arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport and transfer you to your hotel or riad (traditional Moroccan guesthouse) in the city. You have the rest of the day to enjoy the sights of the city, like the bustling market souqs and historic palaces, and try out the amazing local food.

Oukaimeden to Tizi Tamatert
After breakfast, head from Marrakech to the ski resort of Oukaimeden, which stands at an altitude of 2660m. You'll start your first ride by going uphill to Tizi Addi and take a technical singletrack down to the Tachedirt Valley in the High Atlas region. After a lovely lunch by the riverside, continue to the top of Tizi Tamatert and descend to Imlil where you spend the night in a friendly local guesthouse.

ICross Tizi Tzikerte to Id Aissa
It's a tough trip over the pass of Tizi Tzikerte, so the bikes are transported by mule while the group walks on the path. Then it's time to start riding on a beautiful but difficult singletrack with descents over rough and steep slopes through the scenic Ouazzaden Valley. You’ll finish at the small village of Id Aissa. Spend the night in the village and sample some traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Ouirgane to Amizmiz Valley
Today's ride is primarily over singletrack that runs through a handful of small villages, with a couple of small climbs that give you the opportunity for exhilarating fast sections. After lunch, cross a large dam and find the entrance to a spectacular gorge with breathtaking scenery. From here you enjoy a gentle ride to the guesthouse and the village where you can rest your aching muscles in a nice hot hammam.

Amizmiz to Ait Hamed
Leaving the guesthouse behind, you’ll cycle through groves of olive trees and make a stop at a local Berber family's house, where freshly baked bread, olives, and mint tea are waiting for you. After saying goodbye, you‘ll keep riding uphill through the Middle Atlas until you reach the lunch stop area which overlooks a lovely view. Ride another 300m uphill until you reach the pass, and end the ride at Ait Hamed.

Varied Ride to Ijoukak
The day starts with a gentle climb to the head of the pass, including a 10-minute hike-a-bike to the top. It's a bit of a challenge, but worth the incredible views! From the top, the singletrack goes fast and drops in height to cross a dry riverbed, and then continues for a few hours. It's a long day that ends when you cross a rickety bridge and meet the van, which takes you to a late lunch. After this, you can either cycle or travel by van to the guesthouse.

Return to Marrakech
It's the last day of your biking trip – and possibly the best! After breakfast, you leave the guesthouse and ride up to a high pass with amazing views of the Atlas Mountains. From the pass, follow a singletrack to the gorgeous Ouirgane region, where your biking ends. You’ll travel by van back to Marrakech for the night and relax in the city.
