Briefing and First Drive to Paracas
Meet at 9 am this morning at the rental center where you’ll be briefed by the local team and get to know your RV and supplies. It’s then time to set out mid-morning for your first destination, the Paracas National Reserve. Wind the windows down and feel the southern coastal breeze as you cruise for around 3 hours to reach the reserve. Once here, set up camp and enjoy a delicious dinner beneath the starts, as you prepare to wind down for your first night on the road.

Drive to Nazca
One of the true highlights of this adventure awaits you as you set out for Nazca today following breakfast at camp! Drive to the Paracas jetty to take an early boat ride to the Ballestas Islands to watch cormorants, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian Boobies, Inca Terns and more coastal marine species. Refuel with lunch in Chaco then head south along the Pan American Highway through the sprawling desert, with an optional stop for dune buggying, sandboarding, or a winery where Pisco is produced! Arrive in Nazca in the late afternoon and camp in the gardens of Casa Hacienda Hotel.

Continue Your Roadtrip South
You can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel this morning before setting off south. It’s highly recommended that before departure, you book an early flight out over the Naza lines to observe this mystery in all of its glory. Start your drive to wards Puerto Inca where in the time of the Inca ́s the people were engaged in the extraction of seafood, to dry it, and transport to Cusco. Hit up Jihuay beach before calling it a day and checking into your campsite at Puerto Inca Beach.

Today you’ll set out on the long, but oh so scenic drive to Arequipa! It’s recommended to set out no later than 9:30 am to allow you time to drive the 411 km to your next destination, with ample time for stops along the way. You’ll return to the campsite to retrieve your belongings at the end of an incredibly magical day, then you’ll be dropped off at your hotel in Cusco where you’ll spend your final night of the tour. The local team will retrieve your RV from the campsite and return it to Lima.
