We rate this tour as a 3/5 for difficulty. The walks are moderate in terms of terrain and duration, with daily walks ranging from 2 to 3 hours, covering distances of up to 13 km (8 miles). While the routes follow well-marked paths, there are some gentle ascents and descents along the cliffs and countryside. A good level of fitness is recommended, especially for those who are not accustomed to regular walking. The terrain includes beaches, rural paths, and sometimes rocky sections, so sturdy walking shoes and walking poles are highly recommended.

You can reach Trouville sur Mer by taking a local train from Paris to Trouville (2h – 2h30). Alternatively, you can fly into Caen airport and take a taxi from there to Trouville. There are also options to reach Trouville via Lisieux train station (with transfer to Trouville).
Is the Normandy: From Deauville to D-Day Beaches Tour in English?
This is a self-guided tour where guide services are not provided, however, you will be provided all the tour material in English, as well as a helpline phone number.
Where does the Normandy: From Deauville to D-Day Beaches Tour end?
The tour ends in Bayeux, where you’ll stay at Hotel le Bayeux. From there, you can easily reach Caen airport for your departure. A transfer to the airport from Bayeux can be arranged for an additional fee.
