This guided hiking tour to Mount Kailash is always run as a custom tour for your group only. The price always depends on the number of people in your group and your travelling dates.

Accommodation for Trekking to Mount Kailash
You will stay in a range of different accommodation as you travel through the landscapes of Tibet. These will include hotels, local guesthouses and accommodation run by a monastery. You can expect the services of a 2 to 3-star hotel throughout your stay while in cities, but local guesthouses tend to be more basic, especially around Mount Kailash.
Prices are based on double occupancy, but private rooms can be arranged in exchange for a supplement.
Single Rooms and Solo Travelers
You can pay a supplement to have a private room in a hotel. Contact us and we can try and match single travelers up, where possible.
How hard is the Journey to Mount Kailash Tour?
We rate this tour as a 5 / 5. This tour is rated as a 5 / 5 due to the entire tour being at high altitude. You will be expected to trek for 3 consecutive days at a high altitude. We recommend consulting a doctor before embarking on this tour to understand how to handle trekking at high altitude.
Do I need a Visa to travel to China?

How do I get to Lhasa to start this tour?
You will arrive at Lhasa airport by flight, which you can connect to from airports in China. At the airport you will be met by your guide on a group transfer basis to Lhasa Town which is about 70 km from Lhasa airport.

Yes, the tour guide is English speaking.
Where does the Journey to Mount Kailash Tour end?
In Lhasa city, but a transfer back to Lhasa airport is included on a group basis.
