Day 1

Arrive

Your tour begins in the famous battle city of Arnhem, known for the Battle of Arnhem fought here in WWII. Check into your accommodation, then set out to explore the mesmerizing city, home to an excellent zoo and intriguing museums.

Day 2

Cycle the Veluwezoom National Park

Overnight Location - Hotel in Wijk bij Duurstede | Distance - 60km | Meals - Breakfast

Set out this morning for your first ride into the enchanted woods of the Veluwezoom National Park. Tracing the lower Rhine, you’ll want to hop off your bike at the Amerongen Castle to take in the impressive fortress and its lush gardens. Then, continue the route to Wijk bij Duursteede, where you’ll find your next hotel. Settle in before heading out to explore the lovely old city center, and enjoy dinner on a sunny terrace at the town market.

Day 3

Ride to Asperen

Overnight Location - Hotel in Asperen | Distance - 40km | Meals - Breakfast

Rise ready to seize an epic day of cycling as you set off towards Asperen this morning. The first stretch has you crossing the Nederrijn via a beautiful arch bridge. You’ll soon enter the fruit-bearing region of Betuwe, where the sweet smell of the orchards will accompany you on the ride to Buren.

Press on to Asperen, tracing the pretty banks of the river Linge to your next accommodations.

Day 4

Visit Historic Gorenchem and Ride to Dordrecht

Overnight Location - Hotel in Dordrecht | Distance - 64km | Meals - Breakfast

Set out this morning following breakfast, riding towards the historic city of Gorenchem. Pause to take in the charming town center and fortifications before catching a ferry to Woudrichem.

Riding via Nodes, you’ll be ushered into the spellbinding landscapes of the Biesbosch National Park, where the Meuse and the Waal rivers meet. Set sail again, this time for Nieuwe Merwede, and then continue the route to beautiful Dordrecht.

Day 5

Cycle to Kinderdijk and Rotterdam
