Today you’ll ski beside the Sesto River and back through the forest back to San Candido. You’ll pass through Dobbiaco and the Nordic Arena cross-country ski center on your way to Villabassa. Next you’ll ski into the tranquil Braies Valley where you’ll meet the shuttle that will bring you to Prato Piazza. You can choose to take the Lago di Braies route if you’re looking for a more challenging option.

A transfer will collect you from your hotel and bring you to Monguelfo/Val Casies. You’ll be skiing across the sparkling snow of the valley floor as you pass charming farmhouses and a few good spots for you to enjoy a warm drink. If you’re ready to go back you can take public transit or ski back on to Monguelfo and continue to Villabassa or Dobbiaco.

Drei Zinnen and Cortina d’Ampezzo Ski Trip
Begin your adventure for the day from the Nordic Arena and follow the path of an old railway line that will lead you to the Landro Valley. Lake Dobbiaco is a scenic place to stop and enjoy a warm beverage and a strudel. You’ll ski to the viewpoint where you’ll see the majestic Drei Zinnen. The route to Cortina d’Ampezzo is broken up by some tunnels and bridges. When you arrive you can choose to loop back or return to Dobbiaco by public transport.
