Conquer Mount Rainier
Today you’ll start big by tackling the tallest of the volcanoes, Mount Rainier. Bike along the river and climb Chinook Pass. As you crest the pass you’ll be officially entering the Mount Rainier National Park and will catch your first incredible glimpse of Rainier. Your legs are probably burning by now, but the trip to tonight’s lodge should be easier! Enjoy dinner with the group in this tranquil place.

Cycle Mount Rainier and Down to Morton
Your ride begins with a short climb up to Cayuse Pass, but then you’ll enjoy the thrilling ride down into the Ohanapecosh Valley. You’ll pass through Cascades Peaks on your way to the town of Morton. Take a breather here and enjoy some lunch. From here you’ll be collected by the van and transferred to Hood River. This town on the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge is a popular spot for restaurants and outdoor adventurers.

Bike from Hood River to Challenge Mount Hood
You’ll be pushing your limits today on your ride up Mount Hood. The spectacular views as you climb out of the gorge will hopefully inspire you with some extra energy for the big climb and challenging route up to the historic Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. Push hard, but don’t forget to enjoy the mountain scenery unfolding as you gain altitude. Rest your legs at the lodge over dinner with the group tonight.

Today’s ride will be a much-needed break after yesterday’s exertions. The route is mostly paved and downhill, except for a few small uphill sections as you ride down to the Deschutes River Valley and into Madras. Enjoy the cruisy day and the endless green forest flanking you.

The shuttle will take you to Mount Bachelor for today’s ride. You’ll be exploring three sides of the mountain, taking on moderate climbs. You’ll take the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway before arriving at the southern side of Crater Lake National Park, where you’ll ride your final mountain ascent. Woohoo!
