Bike to Sorde-l’Abbaye
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on your first cycling adventure. Pick up your E-Bike and then begin your exploration of the Basco-Béarnais region, pedaling through scenic landscapes. As you ride alongside the Adour River, transition from the Basque houses to lush greenery and exotic surroundings. Well rested this morning and following breakfast, you'll set out to make a first stop to visit the Oxocelhaya Caves, a prehistoric and geological jewel. You travel through the Basque countryside, lush and full of legends, to Cambo-les-Bains, a seaside resort which is home to the “Villa Arnaga”, an exceptional residence built by Edmond Rostand at the beginning of the 20th century. For this last day on the Basque roads, you leave Espelette and cross the typical Basque villages of Ascain, Sare and Ainhoa. You end your cycling trip in an extraordinary way, following the ocean and taking a lunch break in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, on the main square where painters rub shoulders, or at the tip of Sainte Barbe to overlook the cornice.
