Day 1

Arrival

Your Baix Empordà Cycling Adventure kicks off today with a transfer from the Flaça train station to your accommodations in Corçà, where the tour begins.

The evening is yours to settle in as you please.

Day 2

Scenic Loop from Corçà

Overnight Location - Hotel in Corçà | Distance - 31 km, 200m of ascent, 300m of descent | Meals - Breakfast

Today you’ll become pleasantly acquainted with the beauty of the Baix Empordà!

Pedal your way through small, charming villages and soak in the serenity of the landscapes that surround you. The route unfolds as you pass neat crop gardens and Mediterranean woods, paving your way to the Medieval towns of Monells and Madremanya.

A visit to the castle-museum in Pubol, Salvador Dali’s former residence, which he dedicated to his wife beloved wife Gala, is highly recommended here!

A short cut can be taken to cut today’s distance down to 17 km.

Day 3

Cruise from Corçà to Peratallada

Overnight Location - Hotel in Corçà | Distance - 24 km, 150m of ascent, 175m of descent | Meals - Breakfast

This morning you’ll enjoy a thrilling climb through woodlands before the road opens up on flat terrain, guiding you past several pretty hilltop villages.

Breathe in the fresh country air as you cruise to Peratallada.

Tonight, enjoy dinner at one of Peratallada’s 13 excellent restaurants, each serving regional specialties and spectacular local wines.

Day 4

Bound for Costa Brava

Overnight Location - Hotel in Corçà | Distance - 40 km, 150m of ascent, 150m of descent | Meals - Breakfast

Peaceful country lanes mark your path this morning as you ride through the regional capital of Pals, then on to Palafrugell, Llafranca, and Calella de Palafrugell.

Enjoy lunch at a beachfront restaurant along the way, and then perhaps check out the Botanical gardens in Cap Riog or explore the valley of Aubi. The Costa Brava is your oyster!

Day 5

Explore the Costa Brava

Overnight Location - Hotel in Sant Pere Pescador | Distance - 40.5 km, 150m of ascent, 150m of descent | Meals - Breakfast

Enjoy a relaxed route flanked by sandy beaches on one side and green rice fields on the other. This morning you’ll cycle the Ter River Delta, enjoying a pleasant ride through the scenic landscape.

If you prefer to rest the legs today, head to the pretty village of Peratallada, perfect for an afternoon of exploring, eating, and laughing!

Day 6

Cycle into the Region of Alt Empordà

Overnight Location - Hotel in Sant Pere Pescador | Distance - 38 km, 200m of ascent, 220m of descent | Meals - Breakfast

Today you’ll ride north into the region of Alt Empordà through mixed forests and picturesque orchards. You can opt to stop at the Empuries Archeological Site, a fascinating ancient Iberian settlement, perched on a hilltop and boasting archeological wonders.

This afternoon stroll the medieval lanes of Torroella de Montgri before continuing the route to arrive at your hotel in Sant Pere.

Day 7

Visit Figueres, the Dali Museum, and Aiguamolls Natural Park

Your final day of cycling is packed with fascinating explorations!
