Accommodation for 5-day Mount Kilimanjaro on Marangu Route
The accommodations for this tour are based on mountain huts which are shared, dormitory-style rooms. Sponge mattresses and pillows are provided, and there are bathrooms with running water at some of the lower huts. The higher huts will have basic covered latrines.
In some cases, the accommodation listed below may need to be substituted for other, comparable accommodations.

We rate this tour as a 5 / 5. The Marangu route does not require any technical climbing skill but does have some steep stretches with difficult footing. The altitude of this trek will pose a challenge as the air is quite thin and the trek length is shorter.
