Route Description for Richter Pass and the Rollers
If you are after a lengthy cycling adventure in the Okanagan Valley that will see you gain a fair amount of elevation while enjoying stunning mountain views, then the Richter Pass and the Rollers route is the perfect option for you. After setting out from Osoyoos, you will steadily climb your way uphill through Richter Pass along the Crowsnest Highway, enjoying the beautiful views of the surrounding mountain peaks as you push yourself to the highpoint of the route.
From there, you will make an easy descent from the pass towards the winding Similkameen River, following it to the north as you traverse the rollers, a stretch of undulating landscape that will see you climb and descend through a number of rolling hills. After reaching the terminus of the route in Keremeos, feel free to pause for a short rest before turning back to retrace your ride across the rollers and back up through the pass, reliving both the terrain and stunning mountain views on the return leg of your journey back to Osoyoos.
