Route Description for Oliver to Okanagan Falls Trail
The ride from Oliver to Okanagan Falls follows a wonderfully scenic route that will allow you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the Okanagan Valley, while getting in some hard-earned exercise. There are a fair amount of climbs and descents along the trail, so be prepared to work for the amazing views! Setting out from Oliver, you will climb uphill along Fairview Road to the southwest before turning to the north along Willow Brook Road. Here, you will face an undulating rural landscape that will get your heart pumping a bit, but will also provide some lovely vistas that make it all worthwhile.
Shortly after passing by White Lake, you will turn right onto White Lake Road and make a lengthy descent into Okanagan Falls. At this point, you will make your way around the scenic shores of Skaha Lake and cut across town in a southeastern direction. Continue along BC-97, as it runs parallel to the coursing Okanagan River and skirts along the beautiful shores of Vaseux Lake, eventually bringing you back to the starting point of your ride in Oliver.
Getting to the Oliver to Okanagan Falls Trail Trailhead
To reach the Oliver to Okanagan Falls trailhead from Osoyoos, head northwest on BC-97 for 11.5mi and continue straight onto Main Street. After 0.8mi, you will find parking on the right.Route Information
