Route Description for Anarchist Mountain Trail
If you are after a fun climb through a stretch of the Okanagan Valley landscape that offers a good challenge and scenic views of vineyards and lakes, then the Anarchist Mountain Trail is a great option for a fun day out on the road. This classic climb will lead you to breathtaking vistas and offers an exhilarating descent of the mountainside that will make the long uphill climb worthwhile. Be sure to set out early in order to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape while avoiding traffic.
Setting out from Osoyoos, you will make your way east across the lake and pass through East Osoyoos before beginning the uphill portion of your ride. Here, you will follow the route as it turns to the southeast and skirts along the scenic shoreline, swinging back to the north as you meet back up with the highway to climb further uphill.
