Introducing Lifetime Deposits by 10Adventures

As travellers we’ve learned to always expect the unexpected, and peace of mind can go a long way when it comes to planning an adventure. Things come up in life, and we get that, so why shouldn’t you be allowed to hold onto your booking deposit in the event that you need to cancel your trip?

From sudden illnesses and family emergencies, to new job opportunities or your best friend getting married; there are plenty of reasons why you might need to alter your travel plans. Book your adventures with confidence and the knowledge that you won’t lose out on your hard earned travel funds, no matter what life throws your way!

How Does the Lifetime Deposit System Work?

Lifetime Deposits by 10Adventures operates on a really simple system that allows you to save your deposit payment for a future adventure, should you need to cancel your original travel plans.

If the tour you are looking to book qualifies for Lifetime Deposits, you simply pay the booking deposit to secure your trip as usual, but in the event that you need to cancel, we will keep your full deposit amount on file to use towards any future 10Adventures booking. It doesn’t matter if that trip happens in 1 year or 10 years, your deposit will be ready and waiting for you to pick up where you left off.

While the deposit portion of your trip will be held for you, any remaining balance previously paid toward your trip will be subject to the following cancellation terms:

• Cancellations received 45 or more days before departure: Your deposit will be held by 10Adventures with terms of the Lifetime Deposit Promotion as listed above, and all other payments will be refunded.
• Cancellation received 34-44 days before departure: Your deposit will be held by 10Adventures in accordance with the terms of the Lifetime Deposit Promotion as listed above. An amount equal to 50% of the remainder of the payments made to 10Adventures in respect of the cancelled Tour will be refunded.
• Cancellation less than 34 days before departure of first product or service in relevant booking: Your deposit will be held by 10Adventures in accordance with the terms of the Lifetime Deposit Promotion as listed above. No payments will be refunded.

Additional Lifetime Deposit Details

Lifetime Deposits are a great way to to keep your travel funds secure in the event of unforeseen circumstances, so make sure you understand the details of the program as outlined below:

• Many, but not all, tours on 10Adventures are eligible for Lifetime Deposits.
• Bookings with missed payments are not eligible for Lifetime Deposits.
• In the event that a cancellation needs to be made, a voucher in the amount of your deposit paid will be issued to you by email upon cancellation of your tour booking.
• Lifetime Deposits are transferable. If you would like to give your deposit to someone else to book a tour on 10Adventures, just let us know.
• You can only use one lifetime deposit towards a future booking (not multiple).
• If your Lifetime Deposit amount is more than the total tour value you're re-booking, no cash value or credit will be issued.
• Lifetime Deposits cannot be redeemed for cash value.
