Embark on your journey along the Wawona Meadow Loop Trail from the trailhead on the south side of Wawona Road. Here, you will have to walk along the Chowchilla Mountain Road and through the golf course, before diverting southeast along the Wawona Meadow Loop Trail. Now wandering through conifers, you will be granted sporadic views of the picture-perfect meadow below that has an abundance of vibrant wildflowers. Continue hiking through the enchanting woodlands before curving north. Here, you will be granted expansive views of the meadow below, the golf course, and Wawona Lodge.
Follow the Wawona Meadow Loop Trail northwest, eventually crossing over Wawona Road and over towards the lodge. Explore the grounds and, when you are ready, head back to your car to end your scenic adventure.
