Route Description for Sharp Haw Circular Walk
Walking the Sharp Haw Circular Trail is a popular activity near the town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales, as the route features some rugged terrain, a fairly short overall distance, and beautiful views across the surrounding landscapes within the park.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will head to the northwest along the lane and make your way through the picturesque countryside, keeping right at the fork as you climb uphill towards the summit of Sharp Haw. Once there, you will experience some stunning views of the rolling green hills and rugged moorlands that spread out in every direction.
Once you have finished up at the summit, you will head to the southeast on an alternate path across the moor that can be a bit tricky to navigate in certain areas. After working your way down the hillside and crossing over Woombewr Beck, you will meet up with the lane from the initial part of your journey and follow it back to the trailhead.
