Route Description for Linda Lake Hike
The Linda Lake Hike is a popular route in Yoho National Park due to its stunning views of the surrounding alpine terrain and starting point near Lake O’Hara that is accessible only by shuttle or foot, thereby limiting the number of hikers in the area. Setting out from the backside of the Lake O’Hara Campground, the trail will lead you northwest through the tranquil forests and some intermittent meadows before crossing over Morning Glory Creek to arrive at the shores of Linda Lake. From here, you will loop around the edge of the crystal clear water and follow the trail to the southeast across some undulating terrain that will bring you past the Morning Glory Lakes on the way back to the starting point at Lake O’Hara.
Getting to the Linda Lake Hike Trailhead
To get from Field to the parking lot where you can catch the shuttle into the Linda Lake trailhead, make your way northeast on Trans Canada Highway/BC-1E for 8.3mi and turn right onto O’Hara Park. After 1804ft, you will arrive at the car park. At this point, you will either catch your pre-reserved shuttle to the trailhead or continue on foot for 6.8mi.Route Information
