Route Description for A Walk in the Past Trail
A Walk in the Past is a fun interpretive trail that is popular with families and people camping in the Kicking Horse Campground of Yoho National Park. The trail climbs uphill through the forest and crosses over a rail line, providing information about the history of the railway in the area. With beautiful scenery and the chance to learn some interesting facts, this quick 2.6 km trail is a nice break from some of the longer hikes in the area.
Getting to the A Walk in the Past Trail Trailhead
To reach the Walk in the Past parking area from Field, make your way to the northeast for 2.2mi along BC-1 and turn left onto Yoho Valley Road. After 0.9mi, you will find the entrance to the campground/parking area on the left.Route Information
