Route Description for Cascade Creek Trail
The Cascade Creek Trail is a family-friendly hike near Canyon Village. This trail can be buggy in the early summer, so we recommend bringing along bug repellant or wearing long layers to combat the mosquitoes. Besides just mosquitoes, the Cascade Creek Trail is a great place to see an abundance of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, and a wide variety of birds while out on your adventure.
To hike the Cascade Creek Trail, begin at the Cascade Creek Trailhead and follow the trail along the west bank of Cascade Creek to a divide. At the divide, simply turn around and retrace your steps back to the trailhead where you began.
If you are looking for a longer adventure, this route can be extended along the Observation Peak via Cascade Creek Trail or the Cascade Lake Trail.
