Route Description for Overlord, Lakeside, Decker Loop
The Overlord, Lakeside, Decker Loop is a scenic hiking route in the Blackcomb Peak Ski Area that travels south to the tranquil shores of Blackcomb Lake before skirting around the edge of Blackcomb Peak towards Decker Mountain. From the slopes of the mountain, you will have an amazing sightline over the Fitzsimmons Range and into Garibaldi Provincial Park from several scenic lookouts.
This trail sets out from the Rendezvous Lodge in the Blackcomb Peak Ski Area, so hikers will need to either trek up the Little Burn, Big Burn, Heart Burn trail or purchase a gondola ticket to take the less physically demanding route up to the trailhead. Once you are out on the trail, the terrain is easy to navigate and gradually climbs up and down along the slopes of the mountain peaks, as you make your way around the loop.
