Route Description for Cady Ridge Trail
Cady Ridge is a beautiful area to explore, with views down into the mountain valleys on either side and impressive fall colors in the autumn. Expect moderate traffic on this trail.
The route begins from the end of the road, crossing the river and switchbacking up the ridge. There is a junction on the first switchback, make sure you stay right. The elevation gain is consistent throughout the switchbacks, and then you’ll need to take on a straight-up section to crest the ridge. Traverse the ridge, admiring the views. Take care where the trail narrows or becomes rocky. At the end of the route, turn back and follow the same path back to the trailhead.
