Route Description for Kootenai Brown Trail
The Kootenai Brown Trail is a multi-use trail that runs along Middle Waterton Lake. It’s a great trail for families looking for accessible views. Following a paved path, you’ll come upon excellent mountain views and wildflower sightings.
From the parking lot, follow the paved trail as it leads you towards the park gates. This is a great trail for hiking and cycling at any ability. Enjoy the views and turn around at the endpoint to return the way you came.

Getting to the Kootenai Brown Trail Trailhead
From the town of Waterton, make your way northeast on Highway 5 and turn right at Linnet Lake just past the Prince of Wales Hotel. Park at the main parking area.Route Information
