Route Description for Florence Lake
More of an urban nature walk than a true hike, the Florence Lake Hike is a fun route that will provide you with some nice scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities without even leaving the city. Setting out from the trailhead, make your way along the boardwalk that borders the southern edge of the lake and take some time to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. Continue along the trail as it meets up with Florence Lake Road and follow it north for some more views along the eastern edge of the lake. After reaching the end of the trail, head back along the same route to enjoy the views on your way to the trailhead where you began.
