Route Description for Daggett Lake via Spirit Lake
The hike to Daggett Lake via Spirit Lake is a gorgeous, moderately challenging route in the eastern Uintas. This trail sees little traffic, and the path can be unclear at times; we recommend downloading a map beforehand and/or bringing a GPS unit along with you when you head out on this hike. You will also want to bring along a fishing rod and a camera; this trail is gorgeous, and Daggett Lake is a great spot to go fishing for trout.
From the trailhead on the eastern side of Spirit Lake Road, follow the Browne-Spirit Lake Trail eastward to a divide. At the divide, take the path on your right to head south down to Daggett Lake.
Enjoy a picnic lunch lakeside, and try your luck fishing the waters of Daggett Lake before turning around and heading back the way you came.
