Route Description for Cliff Lake via Clyde Lake Trail
The hike to Cliff Lake via the Clyde Lake Trail is a beautiful route east of Park City, Utah. This trail can be buggy in the early summer, so be sure to bring along some bug spray or wear long sleeves if you are heading out in late June or early July. If you are heading out in the early spring, we suggest bringing along a set of traction devices such as microspikes, as this trail does get icy. This hike is absolutely gorgeous no matter what time of year you hit the trail. We suggest bringing along a picnic lunch to enjoy on the shores of Cliff Lake while you soak in the incredible views of the Uinta Mountains.
From the Crystal Lake Trailhead, take the Lakes Country Trail 216 and head west. Stay left at the first divide, then take a right at the second divide to hike a short distance to Cliff Lake.
At Cliff Lake, take a lap around the lakeshore and dip your toes in the water before heading back to the Crystal Lake Trailhead following the way you came.
