Route Description for Cuernos Camp to Torres Central Hike
Whether you are on the final day of the O Circuit or had trekked out to Cuernos Camp the night before, the Cuernos Camp to Torres Central Hike is a fun and beautifully scenic route in Torres del Paine National Park. While there isn’t much in the way of challenging terrain, you will still want to arrive prepared with sturdy footwear, proper outdoor gear, and enough food/water to keep you fueled.
Setting out from Cuernos Camp, you will make your way to the northeast along the shoreline of Lake Nordenskjöld. Take some time here to appreciate the stunning views that stretch out across the lake to the surrounding mountain terrain.
Keeping right at several junctions, you will eventually skirt around the edge of Laguna Inge and begin traversing the lower Ascencio Valley. After arriving at the suspension bridge that spans the Río Ascencio, you will cross over to the other side and continue on to the northeast, where you will eventually arrive at the end point of the trail at Torres Central, right near the Hosteria Las Torres.
