Route Description for Twisted Sister to Saguaro Trail
The Twisted Sister to Saguaro Trail is a beautiful hike with easy terrain for hikers and mountain bikers. This route shows off the beauty of the desert without requiring much effort, making it a popular pick for strong beginner hikers and mountain bikers. Be prepared to share the trail. There are lots of connecting routes that can be used to extend your adventures if you’d like to go further.
This route is out in the sun, so we recommend leaving it for shoulder season or winter and coming prepared with lots of water, a hat, and sunscreen if you plan to visit on a hot day. If you’re new to the area, bring a GPS route to help with the occasional unsigned junction you’ll encounter.
You can start at either trailhead. From the north, the route follows Twisted Sister to the rocky ridge ahead before turning northwest onto Mine Trail and then Saguaro Trail.
