Route Description for Confederation Lake Trail
Although the Confederation Lake Trail features over 800 m of elevation gain, this is largely spread throughout the route along a steady incline with a few fairly steep sections. The trail sets out from the Inland Lake Campground at the picturesque shores of Inland Lake and initially follows a fairly flat section of trail through the forest. Eventually, the route will steepen a fair bit and continue uphill at a steady pace before you arrive at the breathtaking site of Stealth Falls. After taking in the views, continue your hike up a series of switchbacks through the scenic forest until the trail begins to level out and you arrive at the heavily wooded shores of Confederation lake. Take some time to explore the area around the lake before heading back downhill along the same route to return to the trailhead.
