Route Description for Upperton Common and Petworth Walk
The Upperton Common and Petworth Walk is a family and dog-friendly walk that takes you through Petworth Park. Beginning at the Horseguard Inn, you will wander along Cemetery Lane and turn right along the cemetery vineyards. Turning right will then take you towards the Upperton Common. As you walk through holly and beech trees, you will arrive at Petworth Park, which houses a small calming pond for you to wander around where you may spot some fallow deers playing.
When you have finished exploring the area around the pond, head back onto the road, which will take you past the All Hallows Church and will eventually lead you back to the Horseguard Inn, where you began.
