The Forest of Bere West and Upperjord Copse Walk is a popular path in Hampshire and it can get quite crowded in the summer months. This means the car park will also be crowded, so coming early in the day or later in the day can be a good idea. It can also be somewhat muddy during the wetter seasons, so appropriate footwear is a must for this path.
The Forest of Bere West and Upperjord Copse Walk is a wonderful stroll along the countryside. Tall green ancient trees hang over you as you wander along the well worn grounds. Vibrant green grass and colourful wildflowers blanket this part of the South Downs National Park and make for beautiful scenery while you walk along the path.
Beginning at the car park off of Hundred Acre Road, continue to walk along the path and you will reach the woodlands. Keep along the well marked way as you wander through nature and explore the beauty that surrounds you. You will come across a stream and will keep moving on. The majority of this walk follows the path within the woodland.
You will come to a pond along this path, which you can explore and then continue on. Keep your eyes open for wildlife that frequent this area such as birds, squirrels and rabbits. Continue along the path and you will come back to the car park, where you began as this is a circular path.
