Route Description for Devil’s Dyke and Newtimber Walk
The Devil's Dyke and Newtimber Walk is a beautiful, pet-friendly stroll along the English countryside. Stunning, panoramic views captivate you as you begin to wander along the path. Rolling green hills and blue skies can be seen far into the distance. As you continue, you may encounter cattle grazing fluffy green grass along the way.
Some people use parts of this area to parasail on land along the hills, so you can take a break and watch people soar through the air. Small ponds fill the lower areas of the Devil’s Dyke and Newtimber Walk and they are a great place for your pup to take a dip. There are some built in stairs along this path so ensure that you wear comfortable walking shoes. You will come back to the area where you began as this is a circular walk.
Do note that the parking lot is small and only has space for 20 cars, so come early on weekends to ensure a parking spot.
