Route Description for Nantcol Waterfalls Walk
From the car park, follow the blue-tipped posts as you set off in a southerly direction, keeping right along the path that starts by following the river. This section is aptly called the “Riverside Walk”. Portions of the path can be steep and muddy at times, so take care in poor weather. The Nantcol Waterfalls emerge in short order, on your right. A broad multi-level drop makes this a very scenic place for a few photos!
The well-signed route continues south then east along the river before turning to the north along the Woodlands Walk. This section of the circuit takes you through the woods, passing a derelict farmhouse, which has been left to nature. At a juncture, turn left if you want to get back to the start as quickly as possible, otherwise keep right and loop around before completing the circle back at the campsite.
