Route Description for Llyn Parc Circular Walk
This is one of the most clearly-signed walks in Snowdonia, making it easy for any visitor to enjoy Llyn Parc and its surroundings. You’ll want to follow the yellow signs for this circular walk, and as long as you do that, navigation is a breeze. The trail curves right as you depart the car park, quickly arriving at the base of the loop, where you can set off in either direction. This map takes you left to start, with the path ascending rather steeply at first before leveling off. There are plenty of minor ups and downs as you walk north, the circular path briefly intersecting just south of Llyn Parc.
The path on the left takes you along the shores of the lake, ascending a little further as you pass it by before dropping down as you loop and turn to the right, starting to walk back south. The terrain on this east side is a little steeper around you, but the path itself is still easy to follow. Keep walking and make your final descent down to the starting point, returning to the car park.
Getting to the Llyn Parc Circular Walk Trailhead
To get to Llyn Parc, head for the village of Betws-y-Coed. There are multiple car parks you can use - the closest one to your walk is just over the bridge that connects the B5106 to the A5. If you’re driving north over the bridge, turn left onto Forest Ro, and the car park should be just on your right past the public washrooms.Route Information
