Route Description for Bell Rock Trailhead via Little Horse Trail
Bell Rock is one of Sedona’s defining rock formations and one of the most popular hikes in the area. With views of Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock, it’s a stunning spot. This trail bypasses the hectic Bell Rock Trailhead by starting at the Little Horse Trailhead. Try this approach if Bell Rock’s parking is full.
From the trailhead, take Bell Rock Pathway as it heads along the road. Go straight through the junction with HT Trail and then continue roughly parallel to the road. You’ll pass Baby Bell, which is a fun scramble if you want to take a quick detour. If you do scramble it, approach from the north.
The route ends at the Bell Rock Trailhead. You can head right on down to the rock and then retrace your steps back to Little Horse Trailhead.
