Route Description for Village Creek Trail
The Village Creek Hike is a stunning opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the Beaver Creek Ski Resort while enjoying the tranquility of a woodland adventure. Enjoy mountain views from the tree break and admire the grandeur of the ski resort that is nestled beneath the treeline. Open year-round, this versatile trek can be enjoyed in the winter months with a pair of snowshoes!
Embark on your adventure along the Village Creek Trail from the trailhead on Offerson Road. From here, track the Village Loop Trail east up a set of switchbacks and through an aspen grove. In the autumn, you will be sounded by a sea of golden leaves as you walk. Intersecting with a few snowmelt streams, you will be lulled into a state of relaxation from the sounds of the gurgling waters and the wind whispering through the trees.
You will come to the trail’s end just before you meet the Cinch-Lower Road. If you still have some gas left in the tank, then feel free to continue exploring; if not, turn around and retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead.
