Route Description for Whispering Pines Nature Trail
In terms of overall length and challenging terrain, you will be hard pressed to find an easier hiking route than the Whispering Pines Nature Trail. What the trail does have going for it is a relaxing woodland setting that can be used by outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, making for a fun day out on the trails of San Bernardino National Forest.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow the dirt path leading into the forest in a clockwise direction; however, the short nature of the route and the easy terrain means that you could also traverse it counterclockwise if you wish. Take some time to appreciate the natural beauty of the forest, as you climb slightly uphill amongst the trees and loop around to arrive quickly back at the trailhead where you began your short lived adventure.
