Route Description for Poopout Hill Hike
If you are a beginner adventurer, are out with the family, or simply are looking for a hike through some laidback terrain, then the Poopout Hill Hike is a great option to explore in Southern California. Take note that the terrain here doesn’t offer much protection from the sun, so make sure to stay covered in the height of summer.
Setting out from the parking lot, you will head across Jenks Lake Road W and pick up the trail leading to the south. From here, you will pass through a small stretch of forest, before following the trail as it turns to the southeast and climbs uphill.
Enjoying the views of the surrounding landscape as you gain elevation, you will eventually cross over a dirt road and push on to the summit of Poopout Hill. Once there, you will enjoy some incredible views of the San Bernardino Mountains around you, before heading back along the same route to return to the trailhead.
