Route Description for Mount Raymond via Bowman Fork Trail
The hike up to Mount Raymond via Bowman Fork is fantastic for experienced adventurers. This trail is a steep and steady climb the whole way up to the summit. Hikers should arrive with proper footwear, an appropriate experience level, lots of snacks, and lots and lots of water. Dogs are permitted on this trail, although please remember that this is a strenuous hike that may not be appropriate for all pups. If you plan to hike with your adventure pup, please note that dogs are permitted off-leash on odd-numbered days of the month but must be kept on a leash on even-numbered days. This hike is a serious challenge, but we’d be lying if we said it isn’t worth it. This trail is absolutely gorgeous, and the summit views are second to none.
From the Bowman Fork Trailhead, follow the path southeast. At Bakers Pass, take the path on your right to head west up to the top of Mount Raymond.
Take a well-deserved rest at the summit and soak in the incredible views before turning around and retracing your steps back to the trailhead.
For a different approach to the top of Mount Raymond, check out Mt. Raymond via North Fork Trailhead.
