Route Description for City Creek Park to Memory Grove
The City Creek to Memory Grove Trail is a beautiful hike in Salt Lake City. This trail is very popular with dog-walkers, runners, and cyclists, and can get quite busy throughout the day. A large section of this trail travels through a popular off-leash dog area, so please remember to be respectful of the on-leash/off-leash park boundaries. The City Creek to Memory Grove Trail takes you on a loop around Memory Grove Park. Memory Grove Park, established in 1924, is an American Military memorial with plaques, buildings and memorabilia from WWI to present-day. This trail is a wonderful way to get out in nature and learn about American history in Salt Lake City.
From the parking area at City Creek Park, follow the path that heads northeast along City Creek to Memory Grove Park. Follow the loop around Memory Grove Park before reconnecting with the trail back down to City Creek Park.
When you find yourself in familiar territory, follow the path back south to the City Creek parking area.
