Route Description for Bonneville Shoreline Trail: Mount Ogden Section
The Bonneville Shoreline Trail: Mount Ogden Section is a beautiful hike on the outskirts of Ogden, Utah. This is a multi-use trail, so when hiking, keep your eyes and ears open for bikes and allow cyclists to pass you by. This trail has some steep sections but is an appropriate route for families with older children. Dogs are also welcome on this trail but must be kept on leash for the duration of their hike. The Bonneville Shoreline Trail: Mount Ogden Section is an easy, accessible and beautiful way to get out and enjoy the beauty of the Utah wilderness just outside of town.
From the 29th Street Trailhead, head east to the Taylor Canyon South Trail. Follow Taylor Canyon South Trail northwest to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Continue along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail up to the Lake Street Access Road. Take a loop around the Lake Street Access Road then a loop around Bonneville Shoreline Trail towards Valley Drive before heading back south.
Follow your footsteps back along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and the Taylor South Trail to the 29th Street Trailhead where you began.
