Route Description for Tideswell Dale Circular
Walking the Tideswell Dale Circular is a fun, family-friendly experience that will take you through a variety of terrain that includes picturesque farmlands and charming riverside settings, all while enjoying the beautiful views across the Derbyshire countryside. The trail sets out from the edge of the village of Tideswell and travels south to cut across the open farmland before descending the hillside to arrive at St. Anne’s church along the banks of the River Wye. From here, you will walk through the peaceful riverside setting before turning north on a course through Tideswell Dale. Eventually, you will meet up with Buxton Road and follow it back into the village where you began the walk.

Getting to the Tideswell Dale Circular Trailhead
To reach the trailhead for the Tideswell Dale Circular from the centre of Tideswell, head southwest on High Street for 0.3mi and turn right onto Richard Lane. After 0.2mi, turn right onto Meadow Lane and follow it for 225ft. Make a left onto Sherwood Road and you will arrive at the trailhead in 322ft.Route Information
