Route Description for More Hall Reservoir Walk
The More Hall Reservoir Walk is a popular family-friendly route on the edge of Sheffield due to the scenic views, charming woodland atmosphere, and easy-going terrain. Setting out from the trailhead, the route heads west through the dense cover of the forest before turning north to cross the dam wall of the reservoir. From here, you will make your way along the forested edge of Broomhead Reservoir, crossing over Ewden Beck, Allas Lane Dike, and Canyards Brook before once again arriving back at the dam wall. Head north to cross over once again, this time taking the road to the right to make your way through Ewden Village. Continue along the path as it encircles More Hall Reservoir and enjoy the views across the water. After passing through Wilkin Wood, you will arrive back at the trailhead where you began the walk.
