Route Description for Langsett Reservoir Northside Circular Walk
While it is only a short adventure, the Langsett Reservoir Northside Circular is a popular walking route in this part of the Peak District due to its charming forest setting and scenic views across the water. The trail sets out from the Langsett Barn car park and heads southwest towards the edge of the water. Here, you will follow the trail west to enjoy the pleasant views across the calm water of Langsett Reservoir. Continue along the trail as it follows closely alongside the Little Don River, turning back when you have reached the westernmost point of the route shown on the map. From here, take the trail east that passes between the fields on your left and the dense cover of the forest on the right. Eventually, you will arrive back at the car park where you began.
