Route Description for Eldon Hole Walk
While not exactly the most popular walking route in the area, the Eldon Hole Walk is a relaxing stroll through the countryside that will provide you with the chance to clear your mind while taking in some scenic views of the surrounding hilly landscape. Setting out from the village of Peak Forest, make your way north along the road before heading left at the fork. Take Eldon Lane on your right and follow it for a short distance until you pass a farm and the lane narrows a bit. Eventually, you will come to the site of Eldon Hole, a deep pothole in the area. Continue around the loop portion of the track and enjoy the scenic views across the countryside until you arrive back at the junction with Church Lane, following it south to return to the village where you began.
