Route Description for Mineral Creek Falls via Hoh River Trail
The Hoh Rainforest is one of the top destinations in Olympic National Park, and the hike on Hoh River Trail to Mineral Creek Falls is a highly enjoyable adventure suitable for beginners. This hike begins in the verdant rainforest, then follows the river through the valley to the falls before returning.
Start from the trailhead, heading up near the visitor center. You’ll want to take the Mini Trail on the right, crossing the river and staying right for a couple steps before turning left onto the Hoh River Trail. Able along the river on the mostly level path, enjoying the flowing water and the moss-clad trees.
The falls are visible from the trail at the turnaround point. They’re tucked into the impossibly green forest, making for a lovely photo.
When you’re ready, retrace your steps along the river and through the forest back to the trailhead.
