Route Description for Hulne Park Circular Walk
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Alnwick and are looking for a pleasant walking route that will produce some beautiful natural views and chances to spot local wildlife, then the Hulne Park Circular Walk is the perfect option for you. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in the park, so you will need to leave your canine companions at home.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way to the southwest along the edge of the forest, before following the path as it bends to the west across the moorland. Here, you will climb gently uphill across the open landscape while enjoying sweeping views of the surrounding terrain.
After traversing Cloudy Crags and passing by the buildings at RRH Brizlee Wood, you will follow the path as it heads northeast down the hillside and enters into the cover of the forest. Eventually, the trail will turn to the southeast across the undulating landscape, passing through intermittent stretches of forest and green meadows on the return leg to the trailhead where you started your adventure.
